I am a master’s student in the Applied Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience program, a joint degree offered by ISPA – Instituto Universitário and Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP). I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from ISPA. My research interests include cognitive neuroscience, psychopharmacology, functional neuroplasticity, and executive control in addiction. I am currently completing my master’s thesis and internship at the William James Center for Research (WJCR), where I investigate functional neuroplasticity and the modulation of reward processing in problematic alcohol use through Cognitive Bias Modification (CBM) and electroencephalography (EEG).
